The processes of production of wine are made with the most modern equipments, produced wines are allowed to mature in steel reservoirs to checked temperature.
The red wines
over the workmanship in steel also follow a maturation in barrel of French oak of different dimensions (225 and 500lt) in a zone of the wine cellar, the cooper.
The covering done with bricks, contributes to this angle of the wine cellar make particularly pleasant and romantic.
Casa Setaro, with the red grapes produces the
Aglianico IGT from the homonym vine, the red and rosy Lacryma Christi DOC,from the autochtonous vines
Piedirosso and Aglianico, with different types of workmanship.
With the same vines, Piedirosso and Aglianico produces
"Don Vincenzo", red reserve.
This last, devoted to the founder of the firm, is produced with the best grapes, harvests to the tallest quotas and exposed better.
The Piedirosso is a vine that consults to wine a red ruby colour, like pigeon’s feet, and typical scents of the mature red fruit as plum and raspberries.
The Aglianico instead consults a taste round and persistent. This grapes gives also a typical shents of the mature fruit as cherry .
The vinification method is criomaceration with peels (12-14 days) and then this wine remains in the barrel or so seven months.
With the white grapes, Falanghina and Coda di Volpe, it produces the IGT Falanghina and the white Lacryma Christi DOC that is a blend of Coda di Volpe and Falanghina.
Casa Setaro follows scrupulously all the phases of the wine- production,fills the bottles and puts the labels and devotes his wines to a selected clients.
Objective some firm is to put the territory in the bottle,giving the tastes and the odors of the vesuvio to the tasters.
The Lacryma Christi of Casa Setaro, in particolar, has the merit of to preserve the ancient taste, of this typology of wine, that exalts to the taste the mineral of the volcanic ground.
